This workshop is part of a quarterly series of seminars specifically devoted to the art of argumentation in preparation for alumni and students publishing their research, including their dissertation. The workshops are designed for a general audience of scholar-practitioners.

The common thread of all seminars is the art of argumentation. The series is supported by the Jean-Pierre Isbouts Endowed Fund for Lifelong Learning. After two Fielding experiential learning trips with Dr. Isbouts, Rome to Jerusalem (2019) and Egypt (2021), Fielding alum Pauline Albert, Ph.D. (’09), pledged a gift to establish the Jean-Pierre Isbouts Endowed Fund for Lifelong Learning. The Fund’s purpose is to foster and strengthen lifelong learning for the Fielding alumni and donor community.

From Sept. 16-23, 2023, The Endowed Fund for Lifelong Learning will host its Six Perfect Days in Vienna. The trip includes a stay at Vienna’s famed Bristol Hotel; visits to the Belvedere Palace Museum, the Spanish Riding School, the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Baroque Schönbrunn Palace, the House of Music; a day trip to Klosterneuburg; meals with local specialties; and more sights and opportunities. For more package costs and more information about what’s included, please contact Director of Development and Community Relations Elena Nicklasson at enicklasson@fielding.edu.
