Fielding is proud to announce that Katherine McGraw, Ph.D., is now the Director of the Marie Fielder Center for Democracy, Leadership, and Education. The Marie Fielder Center encourages research that addresses today’s educational and social problems. Dr. McGraw takes over the role after the passing of Dr. Orlando L. Taylor earlier this year. Fielding’s Black Student Association invites all visual artists and creators from the Fielding community (students, alums, staff, faculty) to create and donate pieces of their artwork to a fundraising event to support the programs of the BSA, including the Diversity Speaker Series and the January’s annual MLK celebration. "The Juneteenth Art Showcase: Vision of Blackness" will be hosted in June 2024 in conjunction with BSA’s Juneteenth programming and the commemoration of Fielding’s 50th Anniversary.
