Postbaccalaureate Certificate in Clinical Psychology

Only 7% of applicants to all APA accredited clinical psychology programs are accepted each year. This is why we created the postbaccalaureate certificate program. 87% of our postbac certificate graduates are accepted into an APA accredited PhD program, including Fielding’s PhD in Clinical Psychology program.

Our unique postbaccalaureate certificate program prepares you to be:

(1) a competitive applicant to clinical psychology PhD programs, and

(2) a successful doctoral student.

You will work closely with faculty in our APA accredited clinical psychology PhD program to master the knowledge and skills needed to enter and succeed in a clinical psychology doctoral program. These include:

  • Critical Thinking
  • Scholarly Writing
  • Knowledge of Psychology and Clinical Psychology
  • Statistics
  • Research Methodologies

Academic credits earned may be transferred into a variety of graduate programs. For students admitted into Fielding’s clinical psychology doctoral program, 12 credits will articulate.
