Veterans Day is a time for reflection and acknowledgment — a time to consider the ways in which veterans have contributed to our society and support our democracy.

Fielding Graduate University will pay tribute to veterans by hosting a panel discussion with scholars and researchers on the veteran experience. Please join the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Honoring Our Veterans on Monday, November 13, 2023, from 1-2 p.m. PT | 4-5 p.m. ET. Register here.

The event will focus on what is needed to support veteran well-being by providing an opportunity to explore issues of military lived experience and trauma, moral injury and post-traumatic growth, the need for greater support, and policy change that contribute to the flourishing of veterans and veteran agencies.

Our honored guests include:

  • Dr. John Ruffin, veteran, Fielding alum, and former Board Chair of the National Veterans Foundation
  • Dr. Jeremy Jinkerson, current USAF military psychologist and Fielding alum
  • Dr. Barton Buechner, veteran, Fielding alum, and founding faculty member of the military psychology MA program at Adler University
  • Dr. Miguel Guilarte, Fielding Graduate University doctoral faculty, School of Leadership Studies

Clinical psychology doctoral student Christina St. Clair will moderate the panel.
