About Michele LaFleur Leaver

Michele earned her Master of Arts in Human Development in 2022 from Fielding Graduate University’s School of Leadership Studies, and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Human Development also from Fielding. In addition, she has three other master’s degrees from the University of Colorado system. She has a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado Denver, and a Master of Science in Organizational Development/Management from the University of Colorado Denver.

Michele works as a Growth Strategist for start-ups and early-stage companies in healthcare, integrative medicine, and technology. She is leveraging this rich experience in her doctoral work at Fielding where she is studying successful High Growth Entrepreneurs and how they describe their network-building strategies during the growth stage of their venture and how they see their strategies contributing to business outcomes.

Michele is originally from southern California, and resided for many years in the Colorado mountains. She and her husband are currently based in Knoxville, Tennessee. She is an avid hiker and competitive athlete currently certified as a Personal Trainer (NASM), Brain Fitness Coach (NESTA), Track and Field Coach (USATF), and Nutritionist (ISSA).
