The program is designed for licensed psychologists who want to extend the scope of their assessment practices and treatment interventions to include neuropsychology.
Study with renowned neuropsychologists:
The curriculum provides a broad foundation in the latest theory and research in brain-behavior relationships and training in how to administer, score and interpret neuropsychological tests and batteries. Throughout the program, the careful study of patients with various neuropathological disorders supports your learning appropriate rehabilitative methods and techniques for specific patient groups.
Clinical Experience and Case Consultation
The 1,000-hours of self-guided clinical experience occurs in your workplace or other approved site. Your faculty member consults with you on the assessments you are doing during the residential meetings. Over the two years, you must accrue 200 case consultation hours and present a minimum of 50 cases. The capstone of your two years is the Final Professional evaluation through which you demonstrate mastery of neuropsychology assessment and intervention.
