‘Best Masters in Psychology’ Names Fielding’s Media Psychology Degree in Top Online Programs
Santa Barbara, CA — Fielding Graduate University is proud to announce that the Best Masters in Psychology ranking system has named Fielding’s MA in Media Psychology among the top online masters in psychology degree programs in the nation.
“With over 100 different schools offering some form of online psychology program according to College Navigator,” states the report, “we recognized the importance of finding a quality program, and created this list of the best online masters in psychology programs offered in the United States.”
Program Director Jerri Lynn Hogg is thrilled that the program was recognized. “Fielding’s secret sauce,” she said, “is the dynamic active learning that takes place in the forums, access to experts in media psychology, and a robust collaborative community of scholars and practitioners.”
Including only regionally accredited schools, the ranking recognized Fielding’s Media Psychology program as “innovative.”
Media Psychology is the study of how media and technology can influence behavior, relationships, and meaning making. Fielding students develop an understanding of how social media transforms society, the impact of media and technology on consumers, how to engage customers and audiences across various media platforms, the global effects of the media and technology, and how to broaden and build positive emotion through positive media psychology.
The 40 credit hour MA program does not require a GRE for admission. Graduates are eligible to receive articulated credit for the doctoral degree programs in media psychology at Fielding.
Fielding’s School of Psychology also offers a PhD in Media Psychology, and a Certificate in Media Psychology with an emphasis in either Media Neuroscience or Brand Psychology and Audience Engagement.
