Inaugural Juneteenth Celebration: Save the Date and Register Today


Defining moments in history remind us of the ongoing fight for freedom, justice, and equity. On June 19, 1865, in Galveston, Texas, the Emancipation Proclamation was announced, thus commemorating the end of Black enslavement in America.
