Dr. Terry Hildebrandt Takes Helm of Evidence Based Coaching

Fielding Graduate University is excited to announce that Dr. Terry Hildebrandt has been appointed as new Program Lead of our Evidence Based Coaching program, as longtime lead Francine Campone retires.

Dr. Hildebrandt is a proud Fielding alum, having completed an MA in Organizational Design & Effectiveness in 2000, a Certificate in Integral Studies in 2008, a Certificate in Evidence Based Coaching in 2009, an MA in Human Development in 2010, and a PhD in Human & Organizational Development in 2012.

“What drew me here were the flexibility, the focus on community and social justice, and the lifelong learning/scholar-practitioner model,” Hildebrandt says. “I thought that was really useful because you’re bringing information out into the world — it’s not just theory, it’s practice.”

“Terry is a strong supporter of the university as well as a lifelong learner,” says Dr. Steve Schapiro, dean of academic affairs. “Since his graduation, he has built a highly successful coaching business and is engaged as a thought leader in professional organizations in coaching and organizational development. I am confident that Terry will be bringing the EBC Certificate program into the next generation of professional coach education.”

Dr. Hildebrandt is an entrepreneur, executive coach, organization development consultant, coaching supervisor, and author. He is the founder and CEO of Terry Hildebrandt and Associates, LLC, an organization development and executive coaching consultancy, and has over 21 years of coaching experience in leadership development and organization development. He is a catalyst for individuals and organizations to realize their full potential by providing facilitation, coaching, and organizational consulting.

He works with executives and managers to fine-tune their leadership, improve organizational effectiveness, and lead organizational change to improve profitability, revenue growth, and employee engagement. He works with companies and organizations in multiple industries including high tech, manufacturing, professional services, insurance, energy, government, higher education, and nonprofit. He provides you with the self-awareness, tools, and processes to reach your goals. He is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and a Master Corporate Executive Coach (MCEC) with the MEECO Institute.

“I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank Francine Campone for her wise and steady stewardship of the program over the last eight years,” Dr. Schapiro said. “Francine will be greatly missed, but we are very fortunate that Terry has stepped up to take on this role.”
