Clinical Psychology student Erinn C. Cameron has been awarded a prestigious 2023-2024 Fogarty Global Health Fellowship with the HBNU (Harvard, Boston University, Northwestern, University of New Mexico) research consortium. She will be studying the effects of climate change on the mental health of pregnant women living with HIV in Western Cape, South Africa. Her research is funded by an NIH research fellow training grant.

The HBNU Fogarty Global Health Training Program centers around the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 of improving global health and wellbeing by 2030. The expanded focus on this goal reflects the long-neglected population-level health issues that are forecasted to contribute to significant morbidity and mortality globally, and specifically in low- and middle- income countries (LMICs).
