Eligible recipients will be notified via their Fielding email account. All currently enrolled Summer 2020 students who are eligible to receive federal financial aid and were not enrolled in a completely online program will receive emergency grants funded by HEERF. Even if students owe tuition or fees to the university, they are still eligible for this program. The funds will go directly to students via direct deposit or paper check. Any debts owed to the university will not be deducted from the emergency grant.
Minimum eligibility criteria for students:
- Have a current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with Fielding
- Are currently enrolled or on approved leave of absence (Summer 2020) in a program with face-to-face requirements (i.e. all doctoral, ODL masters, EBC certificates, Neuropsychology certificate, and Clinical Respecialization certificate).
- Are U.S. citizens or permanent residents
The U.S. Department of Education does not allow these funds to be distributed to international students, undocumented students, non-matriculated students, or students enrolled in a completely online program.
