Continuing Coach EducationYour authentic presence is a signature ingredient when holding space for others. Join authors of the book, Holding Space: A Guide to Mindful Facilitation, Izzy Martens and Kate Ebner, for an engaging exploration of how to facilitate as “you.” Starting from the principle that great facilitation is anchored in centered, authentic presence, we will build a set of distinctions about how to tap into the power of your own story, gifts and values to build credibility and trust with clients through an authentic, true-to-you style. This is an interactive webinar, where Izzy and Kate will share some best practices and invite participants to capture the essential elements of their own authentic style.

Learning Objectives

  • Participants will reflect on their life stories to inform how they develop their authentic facilitation style.
  • Participants will learn how to use the concept of “center” to stay grounded in authenticity during a facilitation.
  • Participants will uncover and then practice describing their gifts and authentic facilitation style to become more effective with others.
