An estimated 10,000 people are reaching retirement age every day in the US. While it is a positive transition for many, several studies suggest that as many as 1 in 3 individuals struggle with retirement. Pauline’s research focuses on the social and psychological adjustments that individuals face in retirement, as well as strategies that support retirees’ wellbeing. In this webinar, Pauline will discuss findings from her research, as well as ways in which coaches and other professionals may more effectively support the retiring population.

Bio of Pauline Johnson-Zielonka, PhD, www.RetirementLifePlan.com

Pauline Johnson-Zielonka, PhD, is the founder of Retirement Life Plan and author of Retirement Life Plan: Navigating the transition from a rewarding career. She started Retirement Life Plan as a place to provide research-based information and support on non-financial aspects of the retirement transition. Pauline’s interest in the retirement transition began during her doctoral studies, while interviewing pre-retirees about their retirement expectations. Through these interviews, she discovered how significant and difficult this transition is for some people. She has since been working to reach more individuals with information to help them better prepare for this life transition.
