Fielding-wide Research & Scholarship The Scholar-Practitioner and Higher Education Summary: This work includes several different projects by faculty across schools; and, is aimed at better understanding scholar-practitioners and their role in higher education, especially in distributed education environments. The research has examined areas including the definition of the scholar-practitioner, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral components of the scholar-practitioner life, educational delivery environments, and other topics. Two exciting results of the Fielding-wide expertise in these areas have included the Encyclopedia of Distributed Learning Other specific projects include:
