Summary: This work includes several different projects by faculty across schools; and, is aimed at better understanding scholar-practitioners and their role in higher education, especially in distributed education environments. The research has examined areas including the definition of the scholar-practitioner, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral components of the scholar-practitioner life, educational delivery environments, and other topics.
