Respecialization in Clinical Psychology

For more than 25 years, Fielding Graduate University has been a leader in distributed learning. The School of Psychology offers the only distributed learning Clinical Psychology doctoral program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of the American Psychological Association. The Respecialization Program is designed for students who hold doctorates in non-clinical areas of psychology such as developmental, social or experimental psychology.

THE LEARNING COMMUNITY:
Fielding's School of Psychology students become part of a nationwide learning community that maintains remarkable cohesion through a network of electronic communication and face to face interaction.

FACE TO FACE:
At the core of the community are clusters (i.e., groups of fellow learners and one faculty located in the same region.) RCP students participate in the Clinical Psychology Clusters that normally meet monthly under the direction of regional faculty members. Cluster members work together to facilitate each others' learning. National Sessions offer opportunities for the entire community to come together in January and July.Spring and fall Clinical sessions provide additional opportunities for learning psychological assessment skills.

AT A DISTANCE:
The Fielding Electronic Learning Exchange, FELIX, based on the university's Web site connects all students and faculty electronically for group meetings, seminars and consultation.
