 Neuropsychology Post-Doctoral Certificate
Exciting career and research opportunities exist for clinical neuropsychologists with specialized knowledge and training in the applied science of brain-behavior relationships. Fielding’s neuropsychology certificate program is designed for licensed psychologists who want to expand their practice, increase their income, and become eligible for board certification without having to relocate. Most of our students are mid-career clinical, counseling, or school psychologists who want to earn a credential in neuropsychological foundations, theories, disorders, assessment practices, and treatment interventions.

The Neuropsychology Certificate Program blends your current practice with formal instruction, new knowledge, and case conferencing. As a practicing psychologist, you can complete the program in two years without having to leave your home or profession.

You become part of a challenging, dynamic and diverse community of faculty, student, and alumni colleagues. You join a cluster of highly qualified, adult students led by a faculty advisor, who serves as a faculty mentor throughout the program.
Study with renowned faculty members, Dr. Elkhonon Goldberg, Dr. Leonard Koziol, and Dr. Arnold Purisch to gain a leading edge skill set in neuropsychological assessment and intervention.
  • Obtain a thorough grounding in neuropsychological foundations, theories, disorders, and assessment practices and procedures.
  • Acquire extensive hands-on experience in administering, scoring, and interpreting major neuropsychological tests and batteries.
  • Become eligible for board certification.

What are people saying?

"With the knowledge I obtained from the Fielding postdoctoral training, I could confidently open a private practice specializing in pediatric neuropsychology and have had a thriving practice ever since (14 years).  The didactic training and significant amount of individual and group interaction is something most students will never find in a traditional hospital-based postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology.
