- $375/credit for MSC-548 and MSC-549 (4 credits in all)
- $510/credit for all other required and elective courses (12 credits in all)
The certificate program consists of 16 credits; two of the required courses (4 of the credits) are priced at a lower rate as shown above. This tuition rate is established for the Spring 2012 and Summer 2012 terms. Students may plan their course work to complete this certificate program in as few as three terms. Other Costs to Consider
Books/Supplies
You will likely need to purchase books, supplies, and computer software during your time as a student. This expense varies depending on the accessibility and stature of local libraries and your personal needs. We estimate that the average student spends $600 on books and supplies for the program.
Additional Considerations for Calculating Financial Aid
The Financial Aid Office provides an annual cost of education (or cost of attendance) budget for each of the financial aid eligible academic programs. This budget is used to calculate need eligibility for certian federal student aid and scholarship funds. It also provides a cap for maximum allowable aid.
In addition to the costs listed above, the budget includes standard estimates of $1,000/month for room, $500/month for board, and $100/month for personal expenses. Significant cost increases due to individual circumstances, such as disabilities, dependent care, or computer purchase may be considered on an individual basis.
