The School of Human & Organizational Development (HOD) offers a multidisciplinary path to scholarship for professionals who want to expand their knowledge, improve their research skills, and create a more reflective practice, with a guiding principle of social responsibility. Since its inception, the School of HOD has emphasized the integration of adult and organizational development as a means to diversity and change. Scholars use this knowledge to inform relevant action, discover theoretical insight, and strengthen the human experience.
 
Flagship doctoral programs in Human & Organizational Systems and Human Development combine individual mentoring, small group study, localized seminars, and conference-based workshops to support scholarly research. Optional concentrations encourage focused study in:
 
  • Information, Society, and Knowledge Organizations
  • Transformative Learning for Social Justice
  • Aging, Culture, and Society
 
The Master of Arts in Organizational Development & Leadership program uses online learning tools for intensive peer-to-peer and student-faculty engagement in professional problem solving.
 
Graduate certificate programs link practical theories with immediately applicable tools. Certificate programs include:
 
 
Continuing Education Certificates and Professional Development Courses offer study in specialized fields, with delivery tailored to the needs of today’s working professional.
