All MA in Organization Management and Development courses are offered online, in combination with one 3-day face-to-face session prior to your second term.
Our online learning environment consists of reading, task assignments and your posted responses (like e-mail responses). Discussion does not occur in "real time," so you have time to reflect on the readings and other students' responses before you post your thoughts.
All coursework is collaborative in nature, involving interaction and dialogue among learners on the assignment topics. Each course includes some type of group project. Faculty members respond to your work throughout the course, bringing their extensive professional and academic backgrounds and understanding into the discussion of your particular topics.
The required face-to-face session, also known as a Jazz Session, provides an opportunity for community building with your fellow scholars, as well as a chance to jump-start your master’s project. As a student, you are invited to attend any of the three Jazz Sessions offered each year, although attendance at only one is required. Each session includes professional development workshops, guest speakers, and other events.
"The flexibility of being able to log in anytime, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, made it easy for me to get into the work and get the work done. "
