The Teaching in the Virtual Classroom certificate program is composed of 6 online courses taken consecutively across two 16-week semesters.
Your progress in the program is assessed by the faculty upon completion of each course prior to moving on to the next course in the curriculum. You complete 3 courses consecutively each semester.
Each semester, the first course provides you with a foundation of the current principles and theory in the field. The second course focuses on specific strategies you can use to implement that knowledge within the virtual environment. In the third course you apply your knowledge and practice your skills within your own areas of interest.
