Learning Outcomes

• As an instructional leader, student achievement will increase as you implement new strategies, link theory to practice, reflect on practice, and follow a continual improvement process
• As a member of a learning community you will engage in dialogue, toward continuous growth and development. Additionally, you will be able to bring community processes into your classrooms and schools to enable collaborative dialogue for increased student achievement and school improvement
• Reflection will create the space for you to evaluate strategies and processes as well as promote reflective practice and learning within your classroom or school
• Integrated with reflection, data on student achievement will increase knowledge of best practice and influence sound decision making regarding curriculum and pedagogy
• Processing and communicating with colleagues will support and expand knowledge creation and strategies that will apply immediately to your classrooms and schools
• You will complete a Capstone research project, and using APA format, write your results in a journal article
