The Master of Arts in Collaborative Educational Leadership (MA-CEL) program is offered in a learning community framework.* Learning communities are groups of educators who meet regularly with local faculty over four semesters.
As a member of a learning community, you engage in topic dialogues as a means of reflection and deeper understanding. You are an active learner in both large and small group experiences, and you continue online dialogue and study between sessions.
These face-to-face sessions are led by faculty facilitators, and offer time for you to engage with other educators. You share and model effective strategies for supporting knowledge creation and learning in your classroom, school, or workplace.
Through online discussion forums, the dialogue continues with facilitators and community members to enhance your on-going learning. You also have access to our online library resources to continue your research and independent work.
*The Learning Community is established and conducted under a license granted by Learning Quest Associates, Inc.
