 MA Collaborative Educational Leadership

Educational reform is much debated among teachers, school boards, administrators, and parents as we search for ways to better educate all of our children. Current research and practice dialogues have been increasingly focused on accountability, standards based reform, assessments, and a much needed awareness to the widening achievement gap among students and concerns related to equity.

Our Master of Arts in Collaborative Educational Leadership program gives you the tools to increase your instructional leadership capacity for student learning and play a central role in creating and sustaining school wide change. You become a member of a learning community dedicated to collaboration, reflective practice, knowledge creation, and critical inquiry through action research. You experience authentic learning that is applied directly into your classroom and/or school. Together, we share our passion and enthusiasm for teaching and learning, and work toward an equitable and just education system.

Our community includes creative and caring elementary, middle, high school and college educators from public, public charter, private, and home based schools. Teachers, administrators, social workers, counselors, nurses, parents, and others collaborate together in search of better ways to educate our children in a rapidly changing world.

For California educators, we also offer a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential (PASC) Preparation. These preparation courses are embedded within the master's degree curriculum.

30 graduate units earned toward the masters degree articulate into the EdD program at Fielding.

We have learning communities starting in California, Georgia, and Wisconsin. To discuss starting a learning community in your area, contact your admission counselor.
