Action research is a research method in which individuals seeking to solve a problem or understand a challenge collaborate in designing, implementing, and evaluating research in action. This Action Research for Coaches online master course uses concepts of action research in conjunction with
- coaching to aid coaches and prospective coaches to assess their own practice,
- document outcomes, and gain understanding of the coaching process. Offered entirely online, with no residency or training requirements, this 12-week course provides participants with the tools to evaluate the efficacy of a range of coaching engagements and identify appropriate coaching interventions.

- Orientation telephone training session: 90 minutes
- 12 weeks online instruction
- Summary telephone training session: 90 minutes
Upon completion of this program, you’ll earn 4 units of graduate credit. This academic credit articulates to several other programs at Fielding:

Francine Campone, EdD, MCC received her doctorate from Columbia University and is considered an educational leader in the field of coaching research. In addition to working as a coach and a consultant, she teaches coaching research, evidence based theory, organizational leadership, and conflict resolution at several universities.
