  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Tuition is $2840 per course. 20% discount for Fielding degree seeking students and alumni.

OMD-676 Grant Writing, 4 semester credits
This course is designed for those who need to learn the basics of proposal writing to foundations and government agencies. Participants will have an opportunity to write their own grant proposals, building their technical skills in writing and argumentation.

OMD-677 Starting a Nonprofit Organization, 4 semester credits
This course is for those interested in starting their own non-profit organizations. Over 12 weeks, participants will learn to prepare for requesting non-profit status, write a strategic plan, mission, vision, and financial plan, build a board of directors and develop a constituency for their work.

OMD-678 Philanthropy and Community Action: Ethical Dimensions, 4 semester credits
This course is designed for professionals working in, or dedicated to, the government, non-profit, and business sectors. Participants will develop greater understanding about the connections between philanthropy and community action. In addition, participants will build critical skills about the ‘new normal’ in philanthropy and its implications for their work.
