Fielding's Media Psychology Doctoral Student Jerri Lynn Hogg Joins Faculty At University Of Hartford

SANTA BARBARA, CA. (October 4, 2004) - Media Psychology doctoral student Jerri Lynn Hogg has been appointed to the faculty of the University of Hartford, CT, it was announced today by Dr. Bernard Luskin, Fielding Executive Vice President and Director of the world's first PhD program in Media Psychology.

In addition to her faculty assignment in teaching Psychology, Hogg has assumed responsibilities as the Coordinator of Academic Studies for the Psychology Department. Her duties include advising, communications, the department's newsletter and web site, tracking student and alumni progress, and organization of various activities such as awards presentations, honors inductions and orientation.

"Ms. Hogg joined Fielding's doctoral program in Media Psychology in September 2003, with the goal of university teaching. Previously, she had been a trainer for Gateway Computer Corporation," said Luskin.

"We are delighted with the progress of our media psychology doctoral students, many of whom are also presently teaching at a number of universities, including California State University, Webster University, DeVry University, Chapman University, Pepperdine University, American Intercontinental University, and others," said Dr. Ronald Giannetti, Dean of the School of Psychology.

"This is clearly an important program with a significant future and we are proud of the accomplishments of students such as Jerri Lynn Hogg. We expect that the media psychology program will grow and will be replicated at universities worldwide," stated Fielding President, Judith Kuipers.
