New policies are announced and become effective by notification of the Provost of Fielding Graduate University or her designee.

Academic program changes are announced by the dean or director of the program.

The usual release of policy announcements occurs July and January of each year. Updates and changes to policy are announced by direct mailings or by electronic mail, including use of FELIX as appropriate. Policies are updated as they occur in the online Policy Bulletin. Academic program matters which are specific to a particular academic program and are not university-wide are published in the on-line program pages.  The on-line Policy Bulletin is the official reference for all university-wide policy matters of Fielding Graduate University and is the official document regarding degree requirements.
