Ruth House is President and Lead Consultant of Middleton-House & Company, which assists clients in getting better results by achieving project alignment, organizational alignment, and organizational change.  She specializes in troubleshooting high risk/high visibility projects, including multi-billion dollar partnerships, joint ventures, and large-scale organizational change.  

Dr. House’s resume includes previously held positions at BellSouth as Director of Interface Management, Manager of Cross-Functional Projects, and Manager of Organizational Change. She also served as President of the Paradigm Corporation for over 10 years.  In addition to her faculty appointment at Fielding, Ruth is a member of the Senior Faculty of Keller Graduate School of Management. She is author of It’s Time to Change the Way You Change and The Human Side of Project Management, and co-author with Martin Broadwell of Supervising Technical and Professional People.  She is a regular contributor of management and organizational change articles to The Georgia Engineer and is a member of Women’s Transportation Seminars, and an associate member of the American Council of Engineering Companies.

Ruth’s current interests include culture change in society; applying the principles of interpersonal interaction and of organization development within technical organizations; and applying organization development principles and methods across organizations—especially in the case of multiple service organizations (within government agencies and without) who must cooperate in order to achieve a good outcome.
