Lee Knobel graduated with an MA in Organization Management and Development in 2004. She left the states just before graduating to return to her native country, South Africa, after being away for a decade. She has experienced great success as an OMD alumna, and is now considering continuing on to Fielding Graduate University's doctoral program in HOD. She was kind enough to answer a few questions about her life now.
I started my own OD consulting company in Johannesburg, South Africa in June 2005, called WorldsView. (www.wordsviewconsulting.com) My area of focus is facilitating transformational change and leadership development I travel extensively to all 4 corners of the globe. I am also a lecturer in OD at Wits Business School (University of the Witwatersrand Business School) in Johannesburg and guest speaker at various seminars and conferences both at home and abroad.
‘Nurturing Innovation in Self-Organizing Systems: Let Go and Let Grow’.
My team and I have spent the past year researching the thorny topic of Leadership and designing a Leadership development program with a difference. It is dialogue-based (rather than ‘class-room teach’) and is designed to take place in natural teams over a period of nine months. It’s called the Nine Conversations in Leadership.

I am seriously thinking of doing my PhD at Fielding Graduate University – using the data we will be collecting from leaders from around the world that participate in our program.
