Associate Provost for Enrollment Management
Fielding Graduate University invites nominations and applications for
the newly created leadership position of Associate Provost for Enrollment
Management. The University seeks an experienced enrollment management
professional with a proven record of success achieving student enrollment
and revenue goals at the graduate level for a private college or university.
The Associate Provost will work with colleagues at Fielding's
administrative headquarters in Santa Barbara, California.
The Position:
The Associate Provost for Enrollment Management will report directly to
the Provost and work in collaboration with other senior leaders and staff
to closely link institutional research, marketing and communications,
retention and persistence efforts, assessment, and continuous improvement
processes. Key areas of accountability will include the development and
implementation of a strategic enrollment management plan based on relevant
market data and the University's mission, vision, and values. The Associate
Provost will serve on the Provost's Academic Leadership Team and will
supervise the following areas: Marketing & Admissions, Continuing
Education, Institutional Research & Planning, and Student Services
(Registrar, Records, Financial Aid, & Graduate Program Advising).
Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree and at least seven years of successful
and progressive experience, including at least three years of management
experience in enrollment management, marketing and admissions, continuing
education, or institutional research and planning. Doctoral degree preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to provide administrative leadership
within a graduate university setting required and in a distributed model
preferred.
- Skilled at conducting research regarding the external
environment as well as analysis of institutional data to improve current
programs and functions and support student success.
- Computer literate and highly adept at utilizing on-line
learning environments to communicate effectively verbally, in writing
and online, with faculty, students, alumni and other professionals
- Skills and ability to assist with the development of
effective working relationships at all levels of the University and
personnel, including issues of diversity, sensitivity, support and interpersonal
conflict resolution and collaboration.
