Special Interests: International Environmental Policy (climate change, environmental cooperation), European history (medieval and early modern), and non-profit organizations as social change agents. Research specialties include archival research, historiography, and hermeneutics.

Professional Activities: Vice-President of Academic and External Programs at The Arboretum in Flagstaff, Arizona (2003-2005); Faculty member and program director for Thunderbird, American Graduate School of International Management in Geneva, Switzerland (1992-1997), Director, Grand Canyon Trust (1997-2003), Adjunct Faculty at Northern Arizona University (1997-present).
