Rita
Lustgarten, PhD, is a psychotherapist, organizational consultant, seminar
leader, and executive coach. She has worked in the field of personal growth
and human development for thirty-five years, emphasizing the humanistic
and transpersonal dimensions of experience. She currently maintains a
vital private practice in psychotherapy and ontological coaching, and
owns her own consulting firm Global Vision Consulting.
After years of training and working in the field of psychology,
she began to apply her skills to organizations. She became a certified
Organizational Development consultant in 1993 at the California Institute
for Integral Studies while participating in a doctoral program. She has
worked for Amadeus International, a London based consulting firm, Rafael
Gonzales, in San Jose, CA. and is a founding member of Quadrix Training
& Consulting group in San Francisco, CA. As a consultant, her work
focuses on uncovering human potential in organizations, providing embodied,
engaged leadership development, strategic development and the creation
of frameworks of global change to leaders and their organizations.
As a seminar leader and trainer, her seminars focus on archetypal
psychology and its organizational implications; the wisdom of the feminine
in leadership; ontological coaching for women entrepreneurs; women and
business; the psychology of money; mentoring circles for women executives;
and conscious relationship.
Rita is a founding member of Wisdom's Goldenrod, a Center
for Philosophic Studies; The Waldorf School in Ithaca, N.Y.; The Center
for Psychological Medicine; The Institute for Evolutionary Leadership,
and the first Somatic organization of the Association for Humanistic Psychology.
She has served on a number of non-profit boards, including The Trager
institute, and as executive director of the Waldorf School, Ithaca, N.Y.
Her current focus is primarily on women's leadership development
and the application of wisdom to the field of leadership.
