Getting Involved in the Creative Longevity and Wisdom Initiative
There are multiple ways for students, alumni, faculty and
members of the broader community to get involved in supporting the Creative
Longevity and Wisdom Initiative.
Scholarly Participation
A major aspect of the vision of the initiative is to encourage scholarly
contributions. Semi-annually, students, faculty and alumni are invited
to apply to become Creative Longevity and Wisdom Fellows by submitting
a statement summarizing their current and ongoing research in the field.
Selected Fellows will be honored at Winter and Summer Session events.
In addition, Fellows will periodically be offered opportunities to share
their research with the Fielding community.
Financial Support
Alumni, faculty and generous members of the larger community donated funds
making possible the start-up of this initiative. Initial funding in 2004-2005
supported student fellowships and made possible a major speaker event
and our first research award. Fielding Graduate University is interested
in developing educational programs, a multimedia Web environment and initiating
additional projects that promote and support creative longevity and wisdom,
and we welcome additional funding to make these projects a reality.
