Certificate in Integral Studies
The stand-alone certificate in Integral Studies is a series of three
courses which begin in September. An Internet orientation is offered for
this certificate; no face-to-face meetings are required. Courses are taught
online and via conference call in an interactive, intimate environment
where students work in small groups to master the Integral Studies knowledge
base. Opportunities to practice Integral techniques and apply Integral
methods are included in the coursework. All three courses are taught by
faculty who have been trained in Integral Studies at the Integral Institute
and in online facilitation at Fielding.

Master's Program
To combine the study of Integral Studies with a master's degree in
Organization Management and Development (OMD), students enroll in the
master's degree and take a combination of Fielding OMD courses and courses
in Integral Studies. Master's students in this combined program attend
an Internet orientation to curriculum and Fielding's software before beginning
their coursework. Two courses that focus on the principles of Integral
Theory, a research course based in Integral Theory's Integral Methodological
Pluralism and an applied project in Integral Studies are combined with
foundational and elective courses from the OMD curriculum to complete
the requirements for the master's degree. All courses are taught online
in an interactive, intimate environment where students work in small groups.
Students have the opportunity to acquire a knowledge and skills base in
Integral Studies as well as organizational management and development
and apply Integral Theory to a wide variety of problems in management
and organizational development. All Integral courses are taught by faculty
trained at the Integral Institute as well as trained in online facilitation
at Fielding.
