Youll be part of a challenging scholar-practitioner program that doesnt require taking several months away from your normal responsibilities. Fielding Graduate Universityone of the most respected names in networked learning for mid-career professionalshas 30 years of experience in designing and offering learning programs. Participants in this program will join a networked learning experience consisting of four elements:
- You’ll join an on-line learning community sharing thoughts and reflections on stimulating readings and cases. You’ll not only learn about different approaches but also learn to apply them in organizations and community life, on college campuses, and other settings.
- We’ll meet in two engaging face-to-face sessions where your time will be invested in skills development (strategic design, naming and framing, facilitation, moderation, diagnostic skills, and critical self reflection). In these sessions, you will also work with core faculty and colleagues on Capstone projects.
- Youll join conversations with leading practitioners. In a series of phone-facilitated scholar-practitioner dialogues, youll have an opportunity to talk with leading practitioners and scholars, and draw on their experience to advance your own work.
- Youll prepare a capstone project based on work in your community or organization. Working with core faculty as your coaches, you will prepare a project that explores innovative approaches to dialogue and public engagement, which you will present in our final face-to-face gathering.
