Unrestricted gifts give Fielding flexibility in allocating funds to areas of highest priority or toward new opportunities as they arise. Unrestricted gifts may be used to support a variety of needs, from faculty resources to scholarships to academic programming.

Bushnell Endowed Scholarship in Organizational & Social Change*
Awarded each year to a School of HOD student in support of innovative research and practice for nonprofit organizations. In honor of founding dean of the School of HOD and faculty emeritus, Don Bushnell.

ELC Scholarships
Scholarships for students in the School of ELC. Includes sub-fund "Session Scholarships" to offset cost of attending sessions.

Ernestine Magagna Baker Endowed Scholarship*
Scholarship assistance for clinical psychology students, with an emphasis on need and preference for students who are first in family to attend undergraduate or graduate school.

Fielding Scholarships
General scholarships fund provides financial assistance to Fielding students as they pursue their academic and professional goals.

Fielding Scholarships Endowment*
Interest earned from this endowed fund will provide financial assistance to Fielding students as they pursue their academic and professional goals.

HOD Scholarships
Scholarships for students in the School of HOD.

Elizabeth Douvan Post-Doctoral Fellowship
Award for HOD graduates whose performance, product, or process benefits the individual and the HOD community. In honor and memory of faculty emerita Libby Douvan.

LaNelle & Dennis Ford Scholarship Fund*
Awards scholarships to female PSY or HOD students residing in Texas. In honor of alumna LaNelle Ford and in memory of her husband Dennis.

Louis & Adele Osherson Fellowship*
Fellowships for mental health practitioners to deepen their training and knowledge of psychodynamic theory and practice through attendance at a Fielding winter session. Through the Alonso Center and School of Psychology, in honor of Louis and Adele Osherson.

Magic Feet
Scholarships for PSY students to offset cost of attending sessions.

Psychology Honors Fund*
Awards grants to students, based upon academic achievement, community participation, and perseverance in the face of adversity.

Scholarships for students in the School of Psychology.

Alonso Center for Psychodynamic Studies*
Supports the Alonso Center which is dedicated to advancing the understanding and interdisciplinary use of psychodynamic theory and practice. School of PSY.

Creative Longevity & Wisdom Initiative Fund
Supports research and advocacy focused on opportunities and challenges for aging and the development of wisdom. School of HOD.

Fielder Visiting Scholars Fund*
Endowment created in memory of Marie Fielder, pioneering educator and founding board member of Fielding. To establish a lectureship series featuring nationally recognized scholars.

Fielding Research Fund
General fund supports research by faculty and students at Fielding.

Institute for Social Innovation (ISI)*
ISI supports the creation of social capital by strengthening the capacity of individuals and organizations to address societal problems.

ISI-Nonprofit Support Center Collaboration
Fielding faculty, students, and alumni collaborate with staff from the Santa Barbara Nonprofit Support Center in working with local nonprofits to design and implement strategic plans and long-term goals to sustain their organizations.

Maehl Research Grant Awards Fund*
Supports scholarly research among university faculty. Priority given to research relevant to adult learning. Established in honor of William Maehl, former president of Fielding.

Malcolm Knowles Chair in Adult Learning*
To be awarded to an HOD faculty member whose sustained efforts exemplify the student-centered learning principles of Malcolm Knowles, former doctoral program faculty member and renowned scholar in the field of adult learning.

Virtual Community (ISAKO) Fund
Supports development of the Information Society and Knowledge Organization (ISAKO) concentration, and faculty and student research associated with ISAKO. School of HOD.

Worldwide Network for Gender Empowerment
Supports networks of scholars and activists from around the world who are committed to research and action in support of knowledge and change related to women's and gender issues.
