Founded in 1974, Fielding Graduate University was a pioneer in the concept of distributed learning communities, as well as in understanding and serving the needs of midlife, midcourse students. Fielding continues to be a global educational leader with a widely emulated learning model. Now, our family of students, staff, faculty, trustees, alumni and friends, are proudly celebrating Fielding's 30th Anniversary with a campaign to raise over three million dollars for the Endowment Fund and the Annual (unrestricted) Fund.

Endowment Fund
Under President Kuipers' leadership, and with full support from the Board of Trustees, Fielding has endorsed a three-year strategic plan with two overriding goals:

• To recruit and retain the highest caliber graduate students most appropriate for Fielding's learning model and academic focus.
• To assure continued financial stability by diversifying revenue sources and creating an endowment.

Dr. Kuipers explains, "With an endowment, we can rest assured that our vision and mission will endure, we will be able to expand our leadership role, and we can provide adequate research grant to Fielding faculty and students."

Annual Fund
Contributions to the Annual Fund are immensely significant by nature of being unrestricted - i.e., the funds can be used where and when there is the greatest need. Leadership has dedicated gifts made to this fund to vital areas such as scholarships, technology upgrading, launching and expanding programs, and faculty research grants.

Gifts of any amount make a difference and are warmly appreciated. All contributions are acknowledged when received or pledged and are recognized in Fielding's Annual Report.
