SANTA BARBARA, California -- Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara celebrated the completion, in only three years, of a $6 million campaign, launched on its 30th anniversary in 2004.
The dinner party held at Stella Mare's was one of several events to commemorate Fielding's success.
Judith Kuipers, president of Fielding Graduate University, with Patricia Oelrich, chair of the board of trustees, Russell Goodman, treasurer, and trustee Harriet Miller at the dinner to celebrate the completion of the $6 million campaign for the university.

campaign and the leadership of Fielding
President Judith Kuipers and chief
development officer Anne Kratz .
Ms. Kuipers announced the original goal of $3 million was doubled as Fielding alumni, trustees, faculty, staff and friends from around the world generously contributed to the campaign along with numerous foundations and corporations.
She also thanked several there, including Margaret Sirot , from Stamford, Conn., who serves on the board of trustees and is chair of the development committee, and Frank Jankovitz , who gave the lead gift to establish the Creative Longevity & Wisdom Initiative.
Other supporters at the celebration included Eric Boehm and Dr. Paula von Simson; Ruth Ackerman; Stan Hatch , former chair of Fielding's board of trustees, and his wife, Betty ; Leni Fe Bland; John and Erika Petote ; Dr. John La Puma; Salud Carbajal , 1st district county supervisor; Harriet Miller , Fielding trustee and former mayor of Santa Barbara; and Charles McClintock , dean of human development.
