Mission
Fielding Graduate University prepares its students to serve as reflective professionals through its innovative doctoral and master’s programs, collaborative learning model, and continuing professional education. We support professional and personal transformation through a learning model which integrates theory, research, and values with high integrity practice and scholarship in Psychology, Human & Organizational Development, and Educational Leadership & Change.

Fielding Graduate University sets the standard world-wide for quality and innovation in transformational distributed graduate education and research. Policies & Provisions Subject to Change
Adherence to some modifications may be required of all students. Fielding recognizes its obligation to make reasonable modifications, to give students sufficient advance notice of them, and to avoid imposing hardships through such changes.
Fielding Graduate University reserves the right to discontinue or modify program requirements, content, and the sequence of program offerings from year to year for educational reasons which it deems sufficient to warrant such actions. Further, Fielding Graduate University reserves the right to discontinue programs from year to year for financial or other reasons which it determines warrant such action. The content, schedule, requirements, and means of presentation of course material may also be changed at any time by Fielding Graduate University for educational reasons which it determines are sufficient to warrant such action. Programs, services, or other activities of the Fielding Graduate University may be discontinued at any time due to reasons beyond the control of Fielding Graduate University, including, but not limited to, natural disasters, destruction of premises, labor disturbances, governmental orders, financial insolvency, or other reasons or circumstances beyond the control of Fielding Graduate University.
Fielding's knowledge area/course descriptions, based upon reasonable and appropriate curriculum considerations, are subject to change as deemed necessary by Fielding to fulfill its role and mission.
The accreditations, approvals, and certifications of Fielding Graduate University are based upon the university's status at the time of printing of official Fielding materials. Accreditations, approvals, and certifications are subject to review and modification from time to time.

Policy Announcements
New policies are announced and become effective by notification of the Provost of Fielding Graduate University or her designee.
Academic program changes are announced by the dean or director of the program.
The usual release of policy announcements
occurs July and January of each year. Updates and changes to policy are
announced by direct mailings or by electronic mail, including use of
FELIX as appropriate. Policies are updated as they occur in the online
handbook. Academic program matters which are specific to a
particular academic program and are not university-wide are published
in the online program pages. The online handbook is the
official reference for all university-wide policy matters of Fielding
Graduate University.
