GRADUATE PLUS APPLICATION PROCESS

- Complete your graduate
student loan counseling test.
- Complete your FAFSA on the Web.
If you are applying for Grad PLUS loans in which
the first disbursement is scheduled to arrive on or after May 2008 complete
the 08-09 FAFSA.
- Preferably choose the same lender you have for your
Stafford loan or the lender
of your choice based on front end and back-end incentives from your
lender .
- Once you have made your lender
selection complete your lender's pre-approval and Master Promissory
Note (MPN) at OpenNet.
To complete the pre-approval process, you will need to register with
OpenNet.

- Fax your Grad PLUS
loan request form
to Fielding indicating your request for the amount you were pre-approved
for (or less) and your lender of choice.
- Students with last name: A-K, fax 805.690.4346
- Students with last name: L-Z,
fax 805.898.4130
- Fielding will certify the Grad PLUS for the pre-approved
or requested amount whichever is less.
- Fielding will send you a notification
to let you know that the Grad PLUS has been certified and where to look
up your online award letter.
- The Grad PLUS funds will be wired to Fielding Graduate
University.
- The Grad PLUS funds will be posted
to your student account and any excess loan funds will be disbursed
to the student.
