Fielding Scholarships & Grants
Fielding Graduate University and the School of Psychology are pleased to be able to offer the following grant, scholarship, fellowship and assistantship opportunities to our students.

Programs are primarily housed within our three schools; award programs that are available in multiple schools will display on each of the appropriate school pages.   • Worldwide Network for Gender Empowerment Research Assistantship
    This assistantship supports the development and expansion of the WNGE community.

    Award Amount: $800 - $1,250 per month before taxes

  • Creative Longevity, Wisdom and Aging Fellowship/Scholarship
    Awarded to students studying in the areas of human creative longevity, wisdom and aging.

    Award Amount: $500 - $2,000

  • Ethnic Minority Dissertation Award
    Supports psychology doctoral students with dissertations on topics related to historically underrepresented groups in the research literature.

    Award Amount: $500

  • Conference Funds
    As available, these funds support students presenting their Fielding research at professional conferences.

    Award Amount: $500

  • The Adele and Louis Osherson Fellowships
    This fellowship supports study in psychoanalytic theory.

    Award Amount: $2,000 - $3,000 covering all travel expenses, room and board, and Winter Session registration fees.

  • Magic Feet
    This scholarship is for psychology students and is designed to offset the cost of attending a national session.

    Award Amount: $500

  • Institute for Social Innovation Awards
    This award is given to students whose research supports social innovation.

    Award Amount: $2,500

  • Frieda Fromm-Reichman Award
    This award recognizes a graduating psychology student who has demonstrated excellence in psychodynamic theory, practice and research during their course of study at Fielding.

    Award Amount: $100 - $300

  • The Fielding Graduate University Scholarship
    Awarded to students with financial need and who have demonstrated academic acheivement.

    Award Amount: $500 - $5,000

  • Fielding Research Grants
    Grants for research activities.

    Award Amount: $1,000 maximum

  • Project for the Study of Anger & Violence Award
    These grants are for research activities in the areas of anger and violence.

    Award Amount: $100 - $1,000

  • Psychology Honors Fund
    This award goes to students based upon academic achievement, community participation, and perseverance in the face of difficulty.

    Award Amount: $350 - $400
