Fielding can assist you in obtaining William D. Ford Federal Direct Student Loan Program (Direct Loan) federal student loans. The Department of Education acts as the lender for your Direct Loan when

To apply for a federal student loan, follow the steps in the financial aid checklist.
Eligibility to Receive Federal Loans
Federal student loans are bound by regulations set by the federal
government, which include many eligibility requirements. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine your personal eligibility. The Financial Aid Office will check your application and determine your financial eligibility levels before awarding aid. Then, prior to disbursing funds, the Financial Aid Office will check your academic eligibility.
Consolidation and Repayment of Federal Loans
You can combine existing school loans (from both the old FFEL program and the Direct Loan program) by getting a Direct Consolidation Loan. This concept is similar to refinancing your home mortgage. Through consolidation, you combine some or all of your loans to have a single fixed interest rate loan.
Several re-payment and loan forgiveness options are available for both Direct Loans and FFEL loans.
