Some students are eligible for tuition reimbursement from their employers while enrolled in a Fielding program. Inquire with your Human Resources department for details about what your employer will reimburse and what documentation they will need.
Request Documentation of Enrollment from Fielding
Your employer may require documentation of enrollment in order to provide the reimbursement to you. Fielding will work with you and your employer to understand your employer’s documentation needs.
Requests for official documentation must be made in writing to:
registrar@fielding.edu
or
Registrar
Fielding Graduate University
2112 Santa Barbara Street
Santa Barbara, CA 93105
Please provide ample advance notice when you need official documentation generated. When emailing a request for documentation, current Fielding students must use their authorized e-mail address.
Standard Letter
Our standard letter to your employer includes the following information:
- Confirmation that you are enrolled in a degree or certificate program
- Anticipated date of completion of your program
Additional Information to your Employer
We are happy to work with your employer directly to explain Fielding’s programs, so that you will be supported. If the standard letter does not meet your needs, we could supply any of the following:
- Tracking sheet to document your course completions, course enrollments and contracts, clinical work in progress, and status on your dissertation. Current students can print a tracking sheet from our online student service system, WebAdvisor.
- An official transcript. Consult our policy on Transcripts for information about placing an order.
- Letter documenting status of partially completed independent study areas
- Letter detailing the course work you have completed including course numbers, units, and grades
- Tuition payment information for specific periods of enrollment
- Registration receipts for National Sessions or other Fielding-sponsored events
- Approximate cost per semester unit of credit can be calculated if you are in an independent study program
Please determine with your employer which type of documentation, or combination of any of the above, is necessary for you to receive reimbursement. We will do all that we can to assist you in receiving reimbursement from your employer.
