We hope you have a wonderful time in Kansas City. We have a great week for you filled with seminars, workshops, and special events.

Here are some highlights of the special events for the week:

  • Monday evening from 7 - 9 p.m. we will have the Welcome Reception.
  • Make sure to check out “Our Sisters Place” or “Our Brothers Place” beginning at 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening.
  • On Wednesday evening at 8 p.m., come and help us celebrate the Fielding careers of Matt Hamabata, Linda Lewis and Barnett Pearce.  Let’s send them off with a round of cheers, some heartfelt words and maybe a song or two.
  • Fielding Alumni Network (FAN) gathers from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, for a “Mingle & Meet” with peers and new graduates.
  • Thursday evening will spotlight a guest presentation at 7 p.m. by Dr. Gene Cohen who will be speaking on The Mature Mind: Creative Potential and Psychological Growth in the Second Half of Life
  • At Saturday’s community meeting we welcome the graduating students into the HOD community.

Be sure to check the catalog for the seminar descriptions and prerequisites before you register for the session. It is also important to check the updates page as we will post any last minute additions and/or changes to the program.
