Committee Meetings

Prerequisite:
You must be at the concept paper stage with at least your core committee members (chair, associate dean, 2 faculty readers) confirmed in order to request a committee meeting. If you are unsure if your committee records are current, or if you need assistance with confirming a committee, contact Elyse Kutz, Dissertation Administrator, eakutz@fielding.edu, as soon as possible.

Requesting and Preparing for a Committee Meeting

• Check the appropriate box on the registration form.
• You must be prepared with an agenda for your committee meeting. Any documents that are to be reviewed before the session must be received by all of your committee members by May 2, 2008.
• If you have a special request for the day and/or time of your meeting please enter this in the space provided on the registration form. This does not guarantee your requested day and/or time; however, we try our very best to satisfy all requests. Due to faculty schedules and the number of meetings to be scheduled we may not be able to accommodate everyone's request.
• If you have special circumstances that mean you will only be able to attend the session on a particular day, please email Stacey Hart at shart@fielding.edu with this information and she will do her best to satisfy your request. Please send in your special circumstance by May 2, 2008 and remember that it may not be possible to comply with this request.

The deadline for requesting a committee meeting is the registration deadline – May 2, 2008, 5pm PDT.

We will post a list of requested meetings on the HOD Program Forum by May 15, 2008. Please be sure to check this list to make certain that your name is on it. If your name appears on this list, it means that you have requested a meeting. It does not necessarily mean that you have met the prerequisite above or that your requested meeting will be confirmed.

We will post a list of scheduled meetings on the HOD Program Forum, which will include the day and time assignments by May 26, 2008. It is very important that you check this list and let Stacey Hart at shart@fielding.edu know if you have any conflicts.

Due to the volume of email received please refrain from inquiring about your scheduled time before the list is posted on the forum on May 26, 2008.
