Welcome ELC Alumni

We are so glad you are planning to join us for our first National Session in Atlanta, GA. We hope that this central meeting site will persuade you to join us for a week full of friendship, scholarship and mentorship! It is a chance for you to support friends and colleagues during their Final Oral Review (FOR) presentations; attend workshops but best of all, it is a time of reconnection, socializing and networking.

As an alumnus/alumna, you are welcome to attend workshops, all the Special Events, FORs and the Fielding Alumni Network‘s (FAN) “mingle and meet” gatherings. We look forward to seeing you.

Monday, 7-9pm:Opening reception
Tuesday, 1:30-4pm: Alumni Workshop:- Privilege & Marginalization: Identities in Action; Diana Waters (ELC 04) and Sarah MacDougall (ELC 05)
Tuesday, 6:30-8:30pm: Keynote Presentation: Growing Social Justice: Fielding Faculty Panel Reflect on Their Scholar-Practitioner Experiences While in Post-Apartheid South Africa
Wednesday, 1:30-4pm: Alumni Workshop:- Apex Thinking: A Guide to Long-Term Leadership for the Rising Chief Executive Officer: Bill White (ELC 01) and Charles H. Polk, PhD
Thursday, 7pm: Talent Night— Light refreshments are served
Friday, 10am-9pm: Graduate’s Present Their Final Oral Reviews (FORs)
Friday, 6pm: Fielding Alumni Network (FAN) invites the ELC community on a Jazz Journey at the Georgia Aquarium. $30 per person: includes admission & tour of the aquarium; 2 complimentary drink tickets for alumni & graduates; live jazz performance; friends & relatives welcome; cash bar and light snacks available.
Saturday, 3:30-5pm: Graduation Ceremony followed by a Dinner/Dance

To acknowledge your graduate achievement,
registration packets will include “Alumni” nametag ribbons.
