Seminar Descriptions

Before you register, you are required to read the course descriptions for the seminars for which you wish to enroll. These descriptions contain important information regarding content and indicate required and optional readings. You may also want to read the "Meet the Presenters" feature for further information and background on the presenters.

You may also view the Session Schedule (PDF) and print it if so desired.
You can choose from among a variety of seminars by using the searchable catalog to get a description of each one. You can search by day, category of seminar/event, faculty/staff presenter, alum/guest presenter, or you can get the full session schedule. Please be aware that if you run the Full Session Schedule, it may take some time to download depending on your Internet connection.

KAs and Academic Credit
Students may contract with an assessor to incorporate what is learned in a workshop into a new KA contract. Prior to National Session students may negotiate with faculty to include workshops activities, e.g., student presentations as part of a KA. Workshop attendance by itself does not yield academic credit.
