Committee Meetings

Prerequisite:

You must have your faculty committee members (chair, research faculty, faculty reader) confirmed in order to request a committee meeting. If you are unsure if your committee records are current, or if you need assistance with confirming a committee, contact Elyse Kutz, Dissertation Administrator, eakutz@fielding.edu, as soon as possible.

Requesting and Preparing for a Committee Meeting

  • Check the appropriate box on the registration form.
  • You must be prepared with an agenda for your committee meeting. Any documents that are to be reviewed before the session must be received by all of your committee members by June 20, 2008.
  • If you have a special request for the day and/or time of your meeting, please enter this in the space provided on the registration form. This does not guarantee your requested day and/or time; however, we try our very best to satisfy all requests. Due to faculty schedules and the number of meetings to be scheduled we may not be able to accommodate everyone's wishes.
  • If you have special circumstances that you are only able to attend the session on a particular day, please email Tiffani Chan at tchan@fielding.edu with this information by May 11, 2008

The deadline to schedule a committee meeting is the registration deadline – May 11, 2008.

We will post a provisional list of Dissertation Committee meetings on the EdD Community Forum by May 23, 2008. Please be sure to check this list to make certain that your name is on it.

We will post a list of the scheduled meetings on the EdD Community Forum, which will include the day and time assignments on June 6, 2008. It is very important that you check this list and let Tiffani Chan at tchan@fielding.edu know if you have any conflicts.

Due to the volume of email received please refrain from inquiring about your scheduled time before the list is posted on the forum on June 6, 2008.
