Toni Gregory, Ed.D and Michael Raffanti JD, EdD, ELC faculty members Editors, recently published their new series titled "Grounded Action: An Evolutionary Systems Methodology" which has just been released by World Futures: Journal of General Evolution, Volume 62, Number 7, October-November, 2006. A number of articles in the series were contributed by Fielding faculty, students and alums participating in the Grounded Theory/Grounded Action Research Concentration in the School of Educational Leadership and Change.

Four Arrows, ELC faculty, recently published a new book, Unlearning the Language of Conquest: Scholars Expose Anti-Indianism in America, that received an outstanding review in Indian Country Today, a leading Indian Newspaper: To quote the review’s beginning sentence, Once in a while, a book comes along that holds your attention so well that you cannot put it down. ''Unlearning the Language of Conquest: Scholars Expose Anti-Indianism in America,'' edited by Four Arrows (Don Trent Jacobs), is such a book. Read the entire review.

Christina Reagle, ELC student, published her article Creating Effective Schools Where All Students Can Learn in The Rural Educator, Summer 2006 issue. The Rural Educator is a journal addressing the needs of rural and small schools and the official journal of the National Rural Education Association. Christina is an instructor at Western Washington State University serving as their Educational Foundations Lecturer in the Teacher Education Outreach Program at North Seattle Community College, Everett Community College, Oak Harbor, and Bremerton, plus on-campus some quarters.
