Irvin Clark, EdD 2003, was appointed as Associate Vice President of Student Affairs at Savannah State University.

Freda Garnanez, EdD 2002, was appointed Division Director of Education at the Ute Mountain Tribe. She will oversee a variety of educational programs including the Higher Education Scholarship Program, Workforce Enactment Program, Public School and Boarding School enrollment, truancy, and library as well as programs in Child Development, Adult Education and Ute Language.

Glen Gatin, ELC student, accepted an appointment as Director of the Campus Manitoba, Canada. Campus Manitoba is a consortium of Brandon University, the University of Manitoba and College University of Saint Boniface.

Kris Mayer, EdD 2001, received a gubernatorial appointment to the Washington State Board of Education.

Vanessa Meneses, ELC student and Fielding Kellogg Leadership Legacy Fellow, was appointed Vice President of Student Services and Economic Development at Coastline Community College.

Ramiro Sanchez, ELC student and Fielding Kellogg Leadership Legacy Fellow, has accepted the position of Executive Vice President of Ventura Community College in Ventura, California.

William White, EdD 2006, has accepted the position of Dean of the School of Leadership at Mountain State University in West Virginia. Dr. White was also instrumental in creating this new School at the University.
